When trying to import or export files the instrument attached to the PC is not listed on both the left and the right sides of the screen. The instrument is properly connected, I've used it successfully and downloaded data with Prolink. What might be the problem?

There could be various reasons why SpectrumLink is not detecting the external device. Some possible solutions are:
Check if the device drivers are properly installed.
Disconnect the device and reconnect it again.
Make sure the device is turned on and functioning properly.
Try restarting both the computer and the device.

I've downloaded and installed version 8.2(4.10.2011) on Windows 10 64bit and it's working normally without errors. I can't fully test it since it requires a device attached to PC, but based on the initial experience I can say that it works and will work with your device.
When installing SpectrumLink, right click its setup package and choose Run as Administrator. This enables the installer to copy all the necessary files into their original place.

I've downloaded the application from the official website and proceeded to the installation, but there is a problem with a needed component. The software tries to download a package and it fails, then it presents some options. No matter the option selected, it will fail because it can't download it.
